updated as of 18 August 2022
Honor Flight at Dulles continues to prioritize the safety of all of our veterans who are transiting through Dulles International Airport. We continue to follow federal, state and local guidelines.
As of 19 April, 2022, wearing a mask while inside Dulles International Airport is now optional. It is a matter of personal preference. However, each Honor Flight will have its own interpretation for the safety and health of its veterans and we will abide by their wishes. It is up to each Honor Flight veteran as to the precautions they choose to employ on their day of honor. As such, we ask that our volunteers respect each veteran’s safety concerns.
IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL, HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19, OR HAVE SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath), PLEASE DO NOT COME GREET AT THE AIRPORT.
Our greatest concern is the safety and well-being of everyone involved with each Honor Flight.
